Pyramix is established as a leading digital audio workstation used extensively in the professional audio market place for Music, TV/Film Post Production and Music Mastering. This has led many educational establishments to invest in Pyramix as a core tool for teaching students the fundamentals of audio recording, editing and production enabling them to become familiar with the tools for the workplace. To compliment the full hardware Pyramix VS system Merging Technologies developed Pyramix Native, a software only version that runs on any windows XP/Vista based PC desktop or laptop and MAC with Bootcamp
With the introduction of Pyramix v6, Pyramix Native is now even more powerful. Native versions are now fully aligned to their larger VS equivalent hence offering key features in a in a very cost effective package.
The audio i/o via ASIO for the Native Broadcast pack has now increased to 24 channels. All other Native packs are increased to 96 channels.
