The System 5-MC is a DAW Controller with a difference - a big difference. Based upon the Euphonix System 5 control surface design and the innovative MC, the System 5-MC tightly integrates with DAWs such as Pyramix, Pro Tools, Nuendo, Logic Pro, Digital Performer high-speed EuCon control protocol over Ethernet.
The control surface can be fitted with 8-48 System 5 channel strips and includes the MC Pro media application controller for master console functions and network control of multiple DAWs. The System 5-MC can work with any application that supports EuCon, HUI or Mackie Control protocol, and can switch between multiple Mac and PC workstations at the push of a button.
Use the MC Pro features for serious and fast DAW control, with features such as 56 LCD SmartSwitches for keyboard shortcuts, touch-screen for setup and track selection, knobs for plug-in controland a programmable jog wheel that can be used for jog, shuttle, move, slip, fade in, fade out and zoom to name just a few.
When it comes time to mix, simply let the System 5 channel strips take
control. These are the same fader modules used in the classic System 5
music and post mixing range of consoles.
They are easy to use, fast, and intuitive. Each channel strip comes with high-res screens for metering, EQ and pan curves, and track info right where you need it.
You can even use the System 5-MC for video edit work thanks to the capabilities of the MC Pro.
System 5-MC includes a professional monitor application with controls on the MC Pro surface. Use any ASIO or Core Audio hardware for speaker feeds and external inputs. SME supports three control rooms sets and two SLS/Cue feeds. Studio Monitor Pro is an upgrade to expand the size of the matrix for film monitor applications.
