The system can easily read AAF, OMF and even Final Cut Pro XML files, playing back the video in its un-rendered multilayer format without any troubles at all. Add to this its ability to synchronize to ANY system running ANY frame rate (even perform timecode “gearboxing”), makes Vcube the only option for busy facilities.

Vcube is AFFORDABLE

With even the most fully loaded Vcube system available coming in at under ¼ of the cost of a HDCAM SR, even the initial expenditure of money can be kept to a minimum. Vcube can also be purchased in Player only formats, or even SD only versions, keeping costs down where a full HD recorder might not be needed. Add to that the complete lack of requirement to repair and replace tape heads, tension arms and all of the moving parts in a traditional VTR can save a facility thousands of pounds per year in maintenance fees.
